The Running Game

This was one of the first movies we had made. My brother and I were the only ones involved in this video. We would take turns holding the camera on each others scene.

Background
I have selected this career because I have always been interested in entertainment and cinema. The thing that attracts me most to this career is the feeling of accomplishment that I feel when I finish a movie or short. The feeling is the best feeling in the world.

Education
To pursue this career I can take a television and film program which is provided by both Sheridan collage and York University. Advanced television and film with a 1 year post graduate certificate at Sheridan Collage in Toronto Ontario is about 10 thousand dollars where as a film and media arts, 5 year, Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) and Diploma at York University in Toronto Ontario, could cost up to 46,640 dollars.

Duties/Responsibilities
The director is a stressful job which includes taking a written work and making it into a visual spectacle within a budget media pressure and strict deadlines. They work irregular hours usually 13 hours a day and 80 hours a week. They must make sure that all members are doing their job, stay on task and are happy with what they are doing. Overall directors have a stressful and time consuming job.

Financial Rewards
The possible income for directors ranges from $35,000 to $80,000 a year
