In his action research enquiry carried out for the award of M.Sc Education and Training Management at DCU, Donal O’Mahony engages asks, researches and answers the question: “How can I use Moodle, a collaborative online learning environment, to improve my practice as a history teacher, as I encourage my pupils to think critically?” He engages with the philosophy underpinning the M.Sc eLearnig programme at Dublin City University as he seeks to work in a collaborative way with all the research participants.
